Busy, busy, busy. Happily busy. I love everything about Christmastime!!
I spent the weekend in the Great Smoky Mountains with my girlfriends. We shopped, watched movies, and laughed a LOT! It was great...and I came home to a happy family and a clean house. My husband rocks!
I am SO close to being completely finished with my Christmas shopping...only stocking stuffers and a few odds and ends are left to gather. YAY!
I have finished addressing our Christmas cards...but since I always try to include an 'update about us' letter, they can't go out yet. Finishing the letter is next on the list. I want the cards to go out by Friday. Ambition. I have a little. :)
We have FOUR Christmas parties this weekend!! I think that's a record. One Friday night, two on Saturday and one after church on Sunday. I can feel my waistline expanding already. I have several treats that I LOVE to make during the holidays. I can't decide which one I really want so I'm sure I'll make more than one...and eat most of it before we hit the parties. Ok, I'm not that bad, but really...there will be some major grubbing going on this weekend. I'll post a few yummy recipes within the next day or so...then I won't be the only Chubby Bunny this Christmas!!
OH...I didn't share anything with you about the picture of the kids that's to the left there. We were at Target the day after Thanksgiving. Those sweet babies were bitten by the love bug and started lovin' on each other. I, the good bloggin'/scrapbookin' mommy that I am, had the camera in my purse. So if you've noticed the shoes in the background, it's because it was just a random little happy shot I captured that day while shopping...we don't normally use shoes as a backdrop. Maybe we'll stop on the Rubbermaid aisle next time...

I noticed the picture right away - they are so adorable and I loved that they were lovin' on each other!! It's a great picture of your really cute kids. I can't believe you are done with your shopping - I am going out today. I am going to try to get my cards done by Sunday - but I said that last weekend too. I'm glad you are doing so well and are in the Christmas spirit - you have a beautiful family. Take care and I'll see you soon. Kellan
I recognized the clothes, just didn't know what shoe dept ya'll were in.
