Regarding new carpet...mine, anyway...it's going to drive me crazy!
Fuzzballs are created just by the 'life' that happens in carpeted spaces.
And fuzz...
floats
all
around
the
house!
And it sticks to clothes. Seriously, I dress the kids and say "don't sit in your floor, in fact, just go downstairs away from the carpet!"
The vaccuum doesn't help. It is stuffed with fuzz..and creates more fuzz when you move it around the floors.
I'm looking for a solution...or at least something to ease the issue.
Hairspray? (ha, totally kidding)
A dog brush? (halfway kidding)
Shop-vac from the garage? (highly likely option)
When the fuzz stops, the new has worn off...and probably the 'clean' look.
Maybe I should just count my fuzzy blessings and move along.
(I heart my new house, by the way, and the fuzz problem is a minor issue in the grand scheme of things!)
Happy Monday!

Unfortunately, there's not an easy solution to new carpet woes. It is possible that the new carpet will destroy your vacuum cleaner before all the fuzz is consumed.
So funny I am going through this exact thing right now too. I had no clue new carpet shed so bad. It keeps getting in my youngest mouth and he goes around spitting all the time. I am sick of fuzz balls collecting on my sock feet and yes my vaccum is consumed with fuzzies after only 1/8 of my living room has been vaccumed. I agree with you though let's count our blessings and move on!

Sorry I have no idea how to help you but your post sure made me smile!!! :)
We have been in our house, little over a year, and we are still getting occasional fuzzies. I hate them and so does my vacuum cleaner. I have to clear out the hoses and anywhere the fuzzies get stuck or it doesn't work. It will get better. If you come up with a way to get rid of them, I am all ears.
Lindsey and I were talking about that this morning. Those fuzzies are extremely annoying!
