Friday night, Yvette sent me an invitation to bring the kids out to an annual Egg Hunt at a local church. I was a little hesitant...I've told you what happened at our last Egg hunt, but with Donald out of town, I'm all about getting out of the house to pass some time. Yvette assured me that this would be worth the drive.
It was so worth the drive!! They had several inflatables, horse rides, egg hunts and lunch. The kids had a blast and Yvette and I were able to speak face to face. It really was a wonderful day!
As you can see, no day would be complete without a little 'Grumpypants' time.
Be sure to hop on over to Yvette's post to see more pictures from our day together.

Ella loves to take pictures. She asked if she could go take a picture of the Easter Bunny. She took a fantastic picture...then she and CJ (Yvette's daughter) had their own little photo shoot. It was very entertaining to watch...and the pictures weren't half bad.
Those girls really hit it off!

Yvette and I have decided that we simply must not let four years pass before we see each other again...in true banker's terminology, Yvette declared that we should have at least Quarterly Meetings.
It's a date, my friend.

♥ I love days when the kids get so tired they crash! :) Happy Easter!
I just LOVE how they pass out after a full day of fun...and sugar. Those sugar highs/ sugar crashes are the BEST! ha ha. Happy Easter!
Sweet post! I used to love to look in the back seat of my car and see that sight. Passed out from so much fun!:)
It looks like you had a great day! I think it's so important for SAHM's to have friends, and I need to keep more in touch with mine! Cute kids! And thanks for stopping by!

What a sweet, sweet day you had. The pictures of the kids in the car on the way home is classic. I'm so glad you were able to have such a great day and see your old friend!
It was such great fun! I'm so glad you decided to come out. Those pictures are hillarious!! They really did a good job, didn't they?? Looks like we may have some future "bloggers" - or whatever it is that they will be doing in their day - on our hands..
I've got to go get some tissue to dry my eyes now....Sniz called me old :( **sniff-sniff**
