Reaching For Your Funny Bone

Evan has a bad habit of floating around the living room getting into everyone’s way as they watch TV. I asked him a few times to scoot in another direction. Nope. I then asked him to sit down so at least Ella could see. He whined. I told him that Ella couldn’t see through him, as if that made any sense to him. Guess it would also be a waste if I said 'Your Daddy isn't a glass-maker.' Oh well.

Before long, Ella chimed in...

Ella: “Mom?”
Me: “Yes?”
Ella: “If Evan had a hole in his head I could see.”

I'm not sure if I stopped laughing long enough to tell her she was right. I am a little amazed that she came up with this...but she's a smart one, I tell ya.

Or maybe I should've told her that we don't put holes in our brother's head just so we can see the TV...hmmm...

♥ That's really funny! We used to say you make a better door than a window... But I really like, "You daddy isn't a glass maker!"

That's funny. It made me laugh!

We always say, "MOVE"!!

Once or twice we said something like "can't see thru muddy water" and got a blank stare while still standing in front of the t.v. So now we just get to the point.
