Rejoice!

As I strolled through Blah-mart yesterday, I noticed Ella singing...

"Jesus reigns, I will praise Him. Jesus reigns, I will praise Him. I'll join the thunder, and tell of the wonder, that Jesus reigns...O O O O, Jesus Reigns." Jana Alayra

I was a proud mama...and what a fitting song for our Christian celebration of Easter.

Last weekend, I participated in my first Easter musical at church. I am so thankful...now I have a few songs stuck in my head (on my heart) as well.

Here are the lyrics to one of my favorites:

Amazing Love
Graham Kendrick

My Lord, what love is this
That pays so dearly
That I, the guilty one,
May go free?

Amazing love, oh what sacrifice
The Son of God given for me
My debt He pays and my death He dies
That I might live, that I might live.

And so, they watched Him die
Despised, rejected
But oh, the blood He shed
Flowed for me!

Amazing love, oh what sacrifice
The Son of God given for me
My debt He pays and my death He dies
That I might live, that I might live.

And now, this love of Christ
Shall flow like rivers
Come wash your guilt away
Live again!

Amazing love, oh what sacrifice
The Son of God, given for me
My debt He pays and my death He dies
That I might live, that I might live.
That I Might Live!!

Jesus is the Reason for this Season!
Happy Easter!

What a proud mom moment! Sometimes we get a little remimder that we are teaching them what is important.

Happy Easter!

My kids do that too! Their favorite is going around and singing "I am a child of God and he has sent me here. Has given me a goodly home with parents kind and dear. Lead me guide me walk beside me. Help me find the way. Teach me all that I must do. To live with him some day." They don't always get ever word but it's so cute! Happy Easter, again... :)
