Friday's Feast

Appetizer
If you could live on another continent for 1 year, which one would you choose?

I would choose Australia. I have always wanted to go there. I considered going there for a year of college…but I was sort of attached here at home, so I didn’t pursue it. I would love to take my kids so they could hang out with Bindi - The Jungle Girl…daughter of the late Crocodile Hunter. We love her little show!

Soup
Which browser do you use to surf the Internet?

Can't say I'm loyal to one or the other...I use both Yahoo and Google.

Salad
On a scale of 1-10 (with 10 being highest), how much do you know about the history of your country?

Eek. I’ll say, er, 6? I have a terrible memory…I know lots of happenings, but I don’t remember dates. (hanging head in shame) Or the names of all the Presidents...

Main Course
Finish this sentence: Love is…

Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. 1 Cor 13:4

Dessert
Have you ever been in or near a tornado?

I saw one in the distance when I was 8. I have not been personally affected, but oh my, how many families around me have. There have been several really bad occurrences in Jackson, TN, like this one in February.

Want more to chew on?

I learned all that history stuff also and cant remember a thing. I love learning it again with the kids as they have gone threw school (two older boys) except when they tell me they have to know it by tomorrow for a test. what, I want to enjoy it and chew on it for abit not cram it in my head all at once. so now I have two more to go threw school, maybe I will get it this time around, probably not hubbys a teacher and loves history.

When we meet for lunch...I will teach you a couple of songs...By the end of lunch you will be able to wow people with your knowledge of all of the President's names (in order) and all of the names of the fifty states and capitals.;)

On the tornado front, Jackson has definitely taken its share of hits. My aunt's house was destroyed in the tornado that hit quite a few years ago there. We drove up there to see her and the rest of our family and could not believe what we saw; it looked like a war zone. I prefer my tornado spottings to be in movies...like Twister.....I can see what they are like, but I am safe and sound on my couch...with Allie.:)

We once had a tornado go through the back yard. It picked up my swingset and tossed it into my mom's car.

Tornadoes scare me like nothing else.
