And they're off!

Off to Mother's Day Out!!

That's right, after taking a year off, the kids are going back and I am not, yahoo!

I am very excited about them returning to school...

Here's Captain Goober...what a goofy grin!

Here's Petite Miss...she's eyeballing the play-doh.

There was some question about how our separation would go...it couldn't have been better!! Evan was very happy to be there...and Ella couldn't sit down quick enough. And she waved bye 'see ya later' to me. Not one tear...from any of us! (that's huge, people!)

They'll be in school two days a week. One of those days I'll work outside the home. The other day is a 'let's see how much I can accomplish in one day' day, for now anyway.

I'm very excited about them going back to school and having a new routine. They will be doing more than watching tv, fighting or playing with the same 'ol stuff everyday.

And, remember, they have really cool nap mats!

And momma has a couple orders for said nap mats!

Looks like everyone is happy!

I was going to suggest that you make a "mommy" nap pad and pillow cover.;)
Something to rest on while the troops are away.

I remember dropping Matthew off at Mother's Day out for the first time. He was like, "Later, Mom!";)
No tears were shed, by him anyway.

Your kids are yummy!
They will love when they get older getting to see all you have documented about their childhoods...
Although you might have some explaining to do with how you came up with the name "Captain Goober.";)

Enjoy your two days a week, mommy!
I hope to be meeting you soon on one of those days.

God Bless,
Amy:)

Those are the cutest nap mats I've ever seen! You're pretty talented! We start school next week and there's that mix of feelings but I am looking forward to a more structured schedule! Have fun on your day off!

wow, just think how much you will accomplish. Bridger starts on Sept 8th for preschool. I am looking forward to one on one with Kimber (its only two hours three days a week though)

The Bean has the same reaction when we drop her off at daycare. It's a "see ya" thrown over her shoulder as she runs to hug her friends. She officially starts in one of the preschool rooms next week though. She sure is growing up!

Very cool mats! Too bad-my little girl can only bring a blanket -- no mats :( Okay, I know I am ridiculous--but I wanted my little girl to act like she missed me a little-LOL!
