Let it be said that I'm not really ready for even the thoughts of my 5 year old graduating anything...
...but she did it anyway...
She graduated from Mother's Day Out. She's officially beyond that stage of life and must now proceed to kindergarten. Oh My Goodness.

How did this happen so fast!??
The ceremony was Thursday night. All the classes performed a few songs and the 'Class of 2009' walked the stage to grab a 'diploma'. And did I cry?? Of course. I'm a big sissy when it comes to this kind of stuff. I once cried when the folks at Toys R Us got on the loud speaker to sing 'Happy Birthday' to Ella. Yep. Big. Sissy. It was all about MY girl...I couldn't help it!
So Evan...his class sang in the program. Here, he's not too sure about singing...

He eventually warmed up a little and sang the words...but he stayed in a semi-trance while doing so. The most fun he had was while the other kids sang!
The big finish to the Bible Book Bop song...Revelation!!!
Making silly faces the WHOLE time the other kids were singing!
Playing a horn in the Praise Parade...
The 'Diploma'
Happy Girl!
The Graduate with her great pal Miss M
Family Portrait - gotta love Evan's lip...
Yay! A smile!

YAY! Congratulations to Miss Ella. Oh, I cried yesterday at church. It was senior day and its just something about Pomp and Circumstace that makes me tear up, not to mention my outragous, crazy hormones!
It all goes way to fast, except the times when you really need it to bedtime then an hour takes like a week :)
Oh and I have to tell you. I took my kids swimming at the commmuntiy pool and I swear (well not really because I try no to swear) I saw Evan. This kid looked just like him. I totally did a double take!!!
Congrats to the graduate! Those little caps and gowns are so cute. And I love the look on your son's face in that one picture - they are both so cute!
Great family pic too! : )
♥ Cute pictures! :)
She is too cute in her cap and gown! The time does go SO fast.
That first picture of Evan is the BEST! Why do I think that will come out at his wedding one day.
Congratulations Ella!
And I love the little cap and gown...very sophisticated!
It's so hard seeing your kids grow up! It seems like once they hit kindergarten it just zooms by. Sorry!
