The Challenge: Are you in?

We have had a new pastor at our church since October. He is bringing a lot of new energy to the church...it's really neat to watch.

But I don't want to just watch.

I want to participate.

He has challenged our church.

He wants us all to read through the entire Bible in 2010.

Sadly, I have never read the entire Bible. But I am on board!

Everyone is using this Bible:

With this Bible, you get an Old Testament reading, a Psalm, a Proverb, a New Testament reading and a devotional for each day...and it will get you through the Bible in one year.

I am very excited to read/learn things that I have never read or known.

I hope to gleen a lot of wonderful truths this year.

Would you like to join me??

I'm in.

I love your new page! Very minimalist, but pretty.
I didn't get the new Bible. I have a "read through the Bible in a year" plan in my current Bible.

Love the purple, girl! So pretty! :)

I really want to take this challenge. I have a daily Bible, similar to that one, but a little different. I need encouragement, though. I tend to take on these tasks and then drop them! I do much better when more people are involved and I have accountability!

Tina this is great! Proud of you. We try to read throught the bible each year. There will be days when you think you can not do it, but keep on. Last year when Marks Dad was sick, the daily reading was such a blessing to us. You will be surprised the things that you will learn and read that you have never seen before.

P.S. Love the new Blog look.

We have that Bible! 2 words of caution....hang in there through Leviticus-they are the priest and their actions are "Old Testament." Makes you thankful for Jesus I tell ya! 2. If you take that Bible to church or Bible study you will be searching for the scripures much of the time! :)

It is perfect set up for reading through! ENJOY!
