I found my son's mute button...

When we walked in, there were toys. The Tinkerbell movie was playing on the tv. There was an inviting checkerboard just waiting for my children to play a game.

All was well.

Until they called my son's name.

You see, we were at the dentist's office. I take the kids in every six months for a cleaning and check-up. Ella FREAKED out on her very first visit but she's been fine ever since. Evan has always done well...afterall, he has a great role model in his sister. Yesterday really wasn't any different except that the office 'cat' seemed to have gotten Evan's tongue.

They called his name. He dropped his head and slumped his shoulders. He seemed to be barely putting one foot in front of the other...to the tune of doom and gloom from all cartoons. You know the one.

He did not say ONE WORD.

He answered no questions.

He simply opened his mouth for the cleaning and barely nodded for a yes or no question.

It was quite a sight!

I told him that I know exactly where to take him next time he gets loud and obnoxious at home.

The dentist's office.

I can no longer say that kid doesn't have a mute button....

Congrats on finding the mute button!! That is quite an accomplishment for any mom. I have yet to for any of my kids :)

LOL!!!
I took my kids to a dentist here in town when they were puppies and he was rude and yelled at my kids. They would NOT go back. I ended up having to take them to a 'SPECIALIST' in another town! They did pretty good there.

You know what is worse? The mean dentist goes to other countries and works on less fortunate kids. WHAT? Poor kids.

♥ That's good that he'll let them clean them! My kids have always been great with the dentist which is a great blessing!
