Do you Whiz?

What?!?! Tell me you weren't thinking about waste elimination techniques. Gee whiz.

Except for one little recipe, I never use Cheez Whiz. I don't use it for cheese dips...that's Velveeta's job. I'm not opposed to the product, I just don't have any other recipes that call for it. No, these aren't natural products, but I haven't grown a third eye or anything.

The one recipe I have that calls for Cheez Whiz is a hand-me-down recipe from my aunt. I have always thought that she made the absolute BEST sausage balls ever...and the magical ingredient is the Whiz. It's such a simple recipe...I'm sharing, so you should try it on your holiday guests this year.

For the BEST sausage Balls EVER:
1 lb sausage (I like Jimmy Dean)
2 1/2 cups Bisquick
8oz Cheez Whiz
-mix together, form into balls, and bake at 375 for 11 - 13 minutes.

You'll be loved at your next party...take the plunge!!

**Feel free to send any tried and true Whiz recipes my way, I'm game**

Saw your blog referred to from On the Upsise. Funny about your opinion of Velveeta and Cheese Whiz. We lived in Canada for two years and Velveeta up there is around $7 for a one pound box and $12 for a 2 pound box. CheezeWhiz, though, is EVERYWHERE and pretty cheap. Cheese Whiz with fries some places (and gravy, YUCH!) Cheese Whiz in all sizes from 8 ounces to 2 KG. that is like 5 POUNDS of Cheese Whiz! I may be exaggerating, here. We bloggers have poetic liscence to do that, eh? We LOVE Rotel (not available in that part of Canada) and Velveeta. I wouldn't pay that much for Velveeta, so I bought Cheeze Whiz. TERRIBLE. TOO SALTY and TOO RUNNY.
Glad to be back in the states with Velveeta and Ro-tel again. (oh yeah, and family)

Hi!

I followed you over here from Kellan's blog, congrats on the award! Your aunt's recipe sounds really easy to make, I think I may just try it! Unfortunately, I don't have any Whiz recipes to share (the shame!). I was reading your earlier blogs and have a question for you regarding the Wii, if you don't mind me asking. My kids would like one, but my husband is leary, he is afraid the controller will fly out of their hands and go through the tv (or a window, or someone's eye). I told him I think there is a strap of some sort that holds the controller to you. Since you have one, does it indeed come with a strap, and, has it ever managed to slip off your wrist even with it? I probably won't be able to find one even if I can get hubby to agree to one, but ya never know! :) BTW, your little ones are just as cute as Kellan said they were! Lizzy
