Friday's Feast

Appetizer
What is the nearest big city to your home?

The Home of the Blues, Elvis and tasty BBQ aka Memphis

Soup
On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being highest, how well do you keep secrets?

Depends. From the husband = 1 From others = 8

Salad
Describe your hair (color, texture, length).

I would call my hair Auburn…it’s soft, doesn’t hold a curl very well…it’s short with layers in the back. See for yourself.
Main Course
What kind of driver are you? Courteous? Aggressive? Slow?

My how things have changed since I’ve had children. I used to be more aggressive, always blowing my horn at people…and I had many speeding tickets. In fact, my husband was used to the phrase ‘I have something to tell you’…that meant I got another ticket.

Now, I’d say I stay closer to the speed limit, but I can get anywhere quicker than my husband. I am courteous...the world would be nicer if everyone would let someone merge in front of them. Try it, it won't kill you! And I only use my horn when I’m about to get clobbered. Oh and I don’t yell so much or say things I used to about other drivers…there are little ears listening. Sometimes I call slow drivers ‘Grandma’ and my daughter asks me why. Sometimes I ask people to ‘please go’ so my son says that from time to time. You have to be very careful!

Dessert
When was the last time you had a really bad week?

My bad weeks always happen when hubs is out of town. Something always goes wrong or someone gets sick and there is no break for mama. I usually have a pity-party…it includes lots of chocolate.

Still hungry??

You are very good at these posts...I too occasionally have a pity party when my husband is away...I serve cold drinks, tasty snacks, and I even have sad music playing in the background....I invite everyone I know, but no one ever shows up. It's always just me.....Now that I am leaving my hubby for so many days, I told him don't bother wasting his time preparing for this kind of party for himself.....people won't come.:)

Have a great day, Tina...Oh, yeah, and if you see me in traffic, honk at me and let me over, Grandma.:)

Love your feasts! Me, I'm a shame faced vocal driver - it runs in the family....

Next time you're having a pity party, let me know. I'll bring the cheese. :)

I'm a pretty calm driver. My grandma? Whoo, buddy. She used to make me keep my fingers in my ears. LOL!
