Inquiring Minds want to know...

...about this picture!!

It's Tiger hair!

No, not the fur coat of a Tiger, but the Tiger hair of...Evan!!!

The kids had Happy Hair day at school last week. I was unsure what I would do to make Evan's hair 'happy', but I figured I could get away with a few funky ponytails and braids for Ella.

The day before the event, the wheels in my head began to turn.

Evan's hair is the perfect color to be a tiger!!

I couldn't wait to get him up for school that day...I was just tickled about the prospect of 'tiger hair'. I grab the 'tiger paint' (aka mascara!!) and created this masterpiece:

I told him that he could roar every time someone mentioned the word tiger...unless...they cried. If his roaring made them sad, he had to stop. If they laughed, he could keep roaring. He loved it!

When I picked the kids up from school, I was told that they voted Evan the winner (not that there was really a contest). And I guess the teachers had all been wondering how I made the stripes. When I mentioned that it was 'crazy what one could do with mascara,' the teacher stuck her head in the door and shouted, 'It's Mascara!!'

It was a very fun day. Even when I took Ella to soccer practice that night, Evan was sporting his tiger'do and loving the attention.

ROAR!!

You rocked out that happy hair for Evan! If you ever go to a Memphis game, you should TOTALLY do that again to his hair. Maybe he'd be picked as the game's Litle Tiger.
