Yea, I said it.
Said it wrong!
I've posted in the past about my speech problems...I just can't get words out right sometimes. I goof them all up!!
Sometimes I have to try and try and try to say something right...I mean, seriously, sometimes I have to put a lot of effort into getting the right word out. It's crazy.
The other night, we had company over for dinner and I was telling our friend something about a dinner.
A puttlock dinner.
What I meant to say was potluck dinner...laughter at my doofus-ness cracks me up more.
Oh, but just in case you might mistakenly think this is limited to my verbal speech...ehh, wrong.
While instant messaging a friend the other day, I totally meant to type 'yes'...but guess what? When your fingers are on the wrong keys...'yes' turns into 'yrd'...and another inside joke is born.
Gotta love it!
So yrd, please do invite me to your next puttlock dinner. Not sure what you'll be putting or locking, but I'm sure it will taste fabulous! Yrd, it will.

Yrd, girl, you know those puttluck dinners are the TIOS!
I love it. You know... everyone does it! I haven't been able to talk right since having children. I think they stole some brain cells.
love, love me some puttluck!! Its called "mama twisted tongue" disease. We talk and correct so much that its bound to get messed up...the texting? can't help you with that!
Blessings
yrd!! I love those puttlocks - as long as I don't have to plan them :)
I do that when I write and frequently with numbers. Funny and frustrating! What a great way to get some inside jokes though!
Yrd, puttlocks are fun!;)
LOL!:)
Don't feel alone though....When my boys were little they used to play with these 2 boys that were also brothers. Their names were Britt and Blaine, and I cannot tell you how many times I referred to them as Blitt and Braine.;)
Sigh.
Big hugs,
Amy:)
