ALL I want for Christmas!
Me: Here Ella, circle some things in this toy book so daddy and I will some ideas of what you want for Christmas.

Yep, I remember those days. Aaaaah, the miraculous Sears Wishbook. I had to have run out of ink in many of those pens! Do they still have the Sears wishbook? Hmmmm.

Marketing definitely knows how to get a kid's attention with those sales ads! I'm just glad The Bean hasn't quite gotten to the "I want" or "buy me" stage. However, I'm sure it won't be long.
On a related note, I remember my granny handing us the Penny's catalog to each of us grandkids every year and telling us to circle the things we wanted for Christmas.
