House-selling.
Fraud-busting.
Let's start with the fraud stuff.
I found a few bogus transactions pending on our bank account on Tuesday. Hubs immediately went to the bank to start the dispute process. To be safe, we opened a new account...those little buggers won't get anymore of our money. We contacted the companies involved and they have all accepted our disputes and agreed to refund the money. We will not lose anything!
Isn't God good??
Waiting on new debit cards and checks seems like a small task now that I know for sure that we haven't lost any money.
On to the house stuff.
That 2nd-look-talking-about-furniture-placement lady hasn't contacted us since Tuesday before last. We were disappointed, but not discouraged.
Then we were contacted about the house through our ad on Craigslist. That family turned out to be a family from here and they know tons of people that we know...very funny. It was almost like we could've played that 'Six degrees to Kevin Bacon'. They are moving to town the first week of May and have told us they want to see they house when they get here. Very cool.
But not the coolest.
Yesterday afternoon, we got another call about the house. A new looker. Someone who just saw our sign as they drove by. She wanted to come see the house last night...so I came home from church and straightened up for the showing. She came, with her son who goes to a school where we have friends who teach, and she seemed to like everything. The son seemed to really like the upstairs space we have to offer...and I know they liked the price.
And...
She told us that she would be emailing her loan officer last night when she got home...and calling him this morning!!! She wanted to know how quickly we'd like to be out...well well well...just about anything is possible!!
I'll keep you posted...but folks...
We may have ourselves a buyer!!!
GOD IS GOOD!

It sounds like you and I have had a rough week! Is God good? There is no doubt in my mind...Christina and I are singing MercyMe's "Bring the Rain" next week and one of the lines says "Can circumstances possibly change who I forever am in you?" No! if you trust Him, that won't change! Hang in there and take care!
wow - great news! fingers and toes crossed! we'll probably list ours in the next month or two. are you FSBO'ing? you'll have to let me know your marketing techniques...cragislist...hadn't thought of that. did you pay a fee to list on the MLS? anyway, prayers this works out!!!
Doing a little dance for ya over here!!! Now go and find yourself that dream house :)
Yeah for you! Keeping my fingers crossed!
Still praying about a buyer...ANY buyer at this point huh? Okay been there with the bank fraud junk UGGH!
Hope you are having a good day!
Not to mention that a friend was willing to go to great lengths to bust some fraud for you, but that's beside the point.
I'm just sayin'! ;)
Hope the lady comes through, but if she doesn't, God knows what's up...
Great news on all fronts and yes - GOD IS GOOD!
Oh yay! Sending positive thoughts for a sale! : )
all things in God's timing:)
I will be praying that you sell. We too are on the market and my 6 and 8 year old girls, and I, are annoying my husband by walking around the house saying "God is going to sell our house today" or feels like a great day for God to sell the house". A little cheesy...but one of these days it is going to ring true and I am going to kick myself in the butt if we didn't say it that day!
We were super excited yesterday to show the house for the first time in three weeks. We have a neighborhood with a bad reputation working against us...so it WILL BE God selling the house. We have done lots of work to it, but HE is going to have to get them to get past the reputation and into the house. On the up side, we have been praying for whomever He has for this house, the whole two months we have been on the market...they WILL be blessed when they live in this house...our prayers guarantee it.
Again, we will join in prayer that your house will sell quickly...limbo is hard to live in! God bless, Becky
Things are falling into place!
Glad the bank account stuff has worked out. Hopefully, they will catch whoever stole the money.
♥ Right On!!! I'm so glad to hear about all of it! How exciting! :)
Yay for you!! On both accounts!!
Amen! Such happy posts are always fun to read. I'm so glad it's all working out for you!
